Bob Merasty
Bob is a member and former Chief of Flying Dust Cree Nation. Educated in Law, he has served as Second Vice-Chief for the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN), Senior Policy Advisor at Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan, and Executive Director at the Indigenous Resource Network.
Bob’s extensive political and professional experience is grounded in a deep connection to First Nations culture, ceremony, and a lifelong commitment to Indigenous language and cultural revitalization.
Delanie Passer
Delanie is an 8th-generation descendant of Treaty 6 signatory Chief Mistawasis and a dedicated student and practitioner of Indigenous ways of knowing and being. He has worked with medicine keepers from the Andes to the Arctic and has devoted himself to grassroots initiatives that advance Indigenous community and government
Raissa Graumans
Raissa is a first-generation Canadian of American and European descent. She was born and raised in Treaty 6 Territory and holds a doctorate in cultural psychology. She works with community-based First Nations organizations across the province and currently supports Miyo-Pimâtisiwin’s administrative operations, as well as contributing to program and curriculum development.
Howie Desnomie
Howie is a respected member of the Peepeeksis Cree Nation. He is a pipe carrier and ceremonial leader with decades of experience learning and sharing his culture. He has a professional background in Land Management, has acted as a liaison with all levels of government, and served numerous terms as an effective Band Councillor.
Joseph Naytowhow
Joseph is a gifted storyteller and a member of Sturgeon Lake First Nation. As a talented Cree musician, actor, and presenter, he travels extensively, sharing traditional knowledge through drum flute, and rattle songs. His unique storytelling style allows him to bring people together and to educated on First Nations history and tradition, contemporary issues, and the vital need to respect and revere Mother Earth.
